You will have the assistance of a skilled mediator. Caroline and George are both experienced attorneys and Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediators.
George Cranton is a native Floridian and obtained his law degree from Stetson University College of Law in St. Petersburg, FL in 1995.
After law school, George began work as a criminal defense attorney which is when he met Caroline then a courtroom opponent and now wife. He later represented insurance companies in workers’ compensation cases. After that, he ran his own law firm for nearly twenty years handling various types of cases with an emphasis on Family Law.
During his thirty years as an attorney, George handled numerous jury and non-jury trials, hearings, and mediations. His focus on Family Law for much of his legal career gives him a great deal of experience in how to deal with the many interconnected, and often complex, child custody, alimony, and equitable distribution issues that arise during Family Law matters. Use George's experience to help you find solutions and move forward.
Caroline Cranton obtained her law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law in 1996.
After moving to Florida, Caroline became an Assistant State Attorney for the Ninth Judicial Circuit. It was while working as an ASA that Caroline met her then opponent, now husband, George.
Caroline has experience in a wide range of litigation practices both as counsel for the plaintiff and the defense. Her practice includes Medical Malpractice, Nursing Home Abuse, Premises Liability, Personal Injury, and Automotive Injury.
Caroline is also Florida Supreme Court Certified Civil Law Mediator in both Circuit and County Court.
Over the course of her nearly thirty years as an attorney, Caroline has handled numerous mediations. As a Mediator, Caroline brings her experience from both sides of litigation to each case. While some Mediators focus solely on mediation, Caroline knows that her experience as a Mediator enriches her practice as a Litigator, and her experience as a Litigator enhances her skills as a Mediator.
